Résumé :	Improving nitrogen use efficiency in plants requires a better knowledge of nitrate acquisition, translocation and assimilation. This could be achieved using Arabidopsis as a model genetic system by taking advantage of the natural variation available among accessions. By using natural variation, this study aims firstly to analyse the growth plasticity and the physiological processes shaping adaptation of plant to nitrogen perturbations and secondly to identify the genes involved in these physiological and growth mechanisms.
