Résumé :	"The workshop was sponsored by the Commission of the European Communities (CEC), Division for the Coordination of Agricultural Research within the framework of the CEC Beef Research Programme. Its purpose was to discuss methods of analysis of feedingstuffs for predicting the energy and protein value of feeds for ruminants, modern developments in analytical chemistry and animal nutrition research suggesting new possibilities in this field. The main aspects of old and new methods of analysis were circulated among the participants prior to the meeting. This document presents these pre-circulated notes and a summary of the ensuing discussions." (4e de couv)
