Résumé :	"The 8th European Symposium of the IFSA comes within questionings which relate to the evolution of rural territories. These are reconstituted under the effect of four major dynamics : transformation of life styles, agricultural activities, relationships between agriculture and other rural activities, public policies and methods of governance of the territories. The control of these transformations and reinforcing the capacities of local players to innovate and develop new projects present a challenge to research and players in the territories. It involves understanding the processes concerned, in order to produce new knowledge that can be passed on, but also to develop methods and models to support and assess these reconstruction dynamics."
