The purpose of the IGDOM project is to fill this gap by incorporating the sustainable management indicators for overseas départements and regions into the IGDFF report. A team of students has been working on standards that would enable the specific issues facing those forests to be accommodated while maintaining consistency with the Pan-European criteria and indicators adopted by France. A number of indicators, typical of each territory, are developed to illustrate the work done during this assignment.
