The “Key Figures“ pamphlet provides to readers in under an accessible and convenient form, the basics elements for understanding global climate change. It is aimed at not only at the general public that wishes to know, but equally experts looking for a portable reference. This brochure presents a concise overview of the greenhouse effect and its consequences; the human and natural activities impacting driving this process, in particular GHG emissions related to the production and consumption of energy; as well as the institutions and policies in place to both reduce greenhouse gas emissions as well as foster adaptation to changes in the global climate.
