Résumé :	Small polyethylene bags with 10 g of insecticide baits formulated with mirex, copper oxychloride, or diflubenzuron, were tested for the control or the leaf cutting ant Acromyrmex subterraneus brunneus, pest of cocoa. (Theobroma cacao L.), distributed at the densities of 100, 200 and 400 bags/ha. This technique is advantageous because it reduces the cost of labour, in areas with high density of nests. It is efficient when 400 bags/ha (4kg of baits) are used. Of the three products tested, onluy diflubenzuron would be recommended for the control of A. subterraneus brunneus, because it is not persistent in tne environment.
