Suez Lyonnaise des EAUX - Montgomery Watson Arabtech Jordaneh (LEMA) started managing the water and waste water utility of Ammam, Jordan on the 31 july 1999. LEMA is a managment contract. Non physical (commercial) losses constitute the big obstacle facing LEMA's contractual requirements. These losses are due mainly to the following points : illegal uses, illegal connections, unread meters, metrology of meters, meters non aligned. However, the two last points are not dealt with in this document. |
