| Résumé : | The present investigations was conducted to know the biological diversity under plantations of Dalbergia sissoo Roxb. and Dendrocalamus strictus (Roxb.) Nees raised on degraded, bhata land near Bilaspur, Madhya pradesh. The number of ground flora species under Dalbergia sissoo and Dendrocalamus strictus where 10 and 8 respectively, Pyllanthus virgatus Forst.f. and Sida acuta Burm.f. were the dominant herbs under Dalbergiasissoo and Dendrocalamus strictus plantations respectively, in general, distribution of ground flora species was contagious under both the plantations. Index of diversity was higher and concentration of dominance was lower for ground flora under plantations than that of control (open barren bhata land). The ground flora under Dalbergia sissoo has highest diversity index (3.231) then Dendrocalamus strictus (2.856) and open barren bhata land (2.303). The index of dissimilarity between plantations and open barren bhata land was high which
indicates remarkable degree of dissimilarity of ground flora species. The population of fungi, bacteria, nematodes and vesicular - arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (VAM) spores were more in soils under plantations than that of control. Plantations have resulted in improvement of soil fertility status as compared to open bhata land not under plantations. | Type de document : | Article | Permalien de la notice : | https://infodoc.agroparistech.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=129489 |
