Farré ; J. Keller ; N. Holling ; Y. Poussade ; W. Gernjak Année de publication : 2011 Article en page(s) : 605 - 612 Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Thésaurus Agrovoc

Autres descripteurs
MEMBRANE OSMOTIQUE ; RECYCLAGE DE L'EAURésumé : The formation of N-nitrosodimethylamine (NDMA) is of major concern among wastewater recycling utilities practicing disinfection with chloramines. The NDMA formation potential (FP) test is a simple and straightforward method to evaluate NDMA precursor concentrations in waters. In this paper we show the NDMA FP results of a range of tertiary wastewater treatment plants that are also the source for production of recycled water using an Ultrafiltration Reverse Osmosis (UF-RO) membrane process. EspagneRésumé : In-sewer treatments have been studied in sewer systems, but few have been carried out on reclaimed wastewater systems. A study of oxygen injection has been performed in a completely filled gravity pipe, 0.6 m in diameter and 62 km long, in cast iron with concrete inside coating, which is part of the reclaimed wastewater reuse scheme of Tenerife (Spain). RECYCLAGE DE L'EAU ; traitement de l'eauRésumé : The Blue Lake is an important water resource for the city of Mount Gambier and the surrounding region, primarily as the drinking water supply source, but also as a tourist attraction. Mount Gambier’s stormwater is discharged directly via drainage wells into the unconfined, karstic Gambier Limestone aquifer, which in turn provides the majority of recharge to Blue Lake.
