| | Résumé : | Au nord de l’Alsace, à cheval sur la frontière franco-allemande, s’étend un vaste massif forestier composé du Bienwald en Allemagne et des massifs de la Basse forêt du Mundat et de la forêt du Bruchwald en France. Au cœur de celui-ci s’écoule la Lauter, cours d’eau formant la frontière nationale. Ces sites, d’une grande richesse écologique, abritent un nombre important d’habitats et d’espèces d’intérêt communautaire et font l’objet de désignations Natura 2000 en France comme en Allemagne. En France, un programme LIFE-Nature a été mis en place pour accompagner la démarche Natura 2000. Cette étude propose, dans ce cadre, à travers une approche transfrontalière des sites, d’aider à la compréhension des différentes conceptions et modes de gestion et de réfléchir à des outils de gestion transfrontalière et concertée sur le cours d’eau de la Lauter.
In the North of the Alsace region, on both sides of the French-German border, lies a vast forest site (Bienwald in Germany and Basse forêt du Mundat and forêt du Bruchwald in France). In its heart flows the Lauter which also is the actual national border. These sites, of great ecological value, shelter an important number of habitats and species of community interest and have been designated as Natura 2000 sites in France as well as in Germany. In France, a LIFE-Nature programm was set up to help the Natura 2000 initiativ.
